Emissions - We all are Responsible!

Fr. 1990-2004 - Emissions had a stable line even with growth of population

Emissions has been constant of per capita spending .80 kilotonnes per millions of dollars / 0.015 kilotonnes per person and millions of dollars spent per person.

Emissions per capita 0.55 kilotonnes per millions of dollars and 0.014 kilotonnes per person and millions of dollars spent per person.

This is green house gas emissions from from foreign companies due to the production of imported goods purchased by Canadian households. (Statistics Canada - Greenhouse gas emissions)

2004 - Goods and services purchases resulting in the highest indirect emissions from households. (Statistics Canada - Greenhouse gas emissions)

Motor Fuels and Lubricants - 15,137 kilotones

Contribution to total household indirect emissions - 7 %

Personal expenditure - 24,245 millions of dollars

Percent contribution to total spending - 3 %

Emission intensity - 0.624 kilotonnes per millions of dollars

This is 6 yrs ago of statistics, Kamloops 2009 of 87,017 population. The Province of B.C. hit the 4 million mark between 2001 - 2006 according to the 2006 Census which makes up of 13% of Canadas overall population.
OMG, thats a lot of facts that just makes me wonder what the heck are we doing to our environment, mother nature is slowly dying!!..no wonder why our water levels are low! our trees are dying!..We are responsible for this disaster one way or another. Its like a domanio effect, knock one thing down, hits another....

Its polluted by Us! Take, take , take, take... its time to give back. Probably way too many people take everything for granted.
